This website has been revamped
If you've visited the Huck Institutes website before, you may have noticed that it has changed a lot since your last visit. We have given the site a complete make-over. Not only does it have a new visual design, but information has been reorganized.
Easier to find information
We hope that these changes make it easier for you to find the information you're looking for. Whatever page of the site you are on, you will see the same set of tabs across the top of the page. These are the major sections of the site:
- The About section contains information about: what the Huck Institutes is and does; its history; policies pertaining to centers of excellence, graduate programs, budgets, governance and other issues; funding opportunities. It also contains an archive of news published on this site.
- The various research Institutes and Centers of Excellence supported by the Huck Institutes can be found in the Institutes and Centers section.
- The Graduate Programs section contains details of the PhD and Masters programs supported by the Huck Institutes. Most of these are interdisciplinary programs, and some are offered at two Penn State campuses: University Park and the Hershey College of Medicine.
- The Huck Institutes supports a number of facilities that offer expertise and instrumentation. Details of these can be found in the Facilities section, along with links to other facilities that — although not directly supported by the Huck Institutes — may be of interest to Penn State life sciences researchers.
- Details of talks, seminars, conferences, workshops, symposia, training events and other kinds of event can all be found in our Event Calendar.
- The People section is where you can find details of people associated with the Huck Institutes; you can search for someone by name, or you can browse through lists of people in various areas of expertise.
