New Associate Director for Huck Institutes

We are pleased to announce that Dr Pamela Mitchell has been appointed the Associate Director of the Huck Institutes.

Some of Dr Mitchell's main duties will include:

1. Identifying training grant opportunities and other initiatives for Huck-supported graduate education programs; working with the Chairs of these programs to develop training grants
2. Serving as the liaison for Huck Institutes and the graduate education Program Chairs
3. Heading up the Huck Distinguished Lecture Series (IBIOS 590) in conjunction with Dr Keil at Hershey College of Medicine
4. Initiating calls for proposals (RFPs) for new IBIOS options; coordinating the internal and external review of proposals; working with Program Chairs to facilitate proposal and program requests through the Graduate Council approval process; initiating the internal 5 year review of IBIOS Options, and assisting all Program Chairs with the Graduate School 5 year reviews
