MSD instrument available
The MSD instrument for simultaneous analyses of several cytokines, chemokines, and other markers is now on campus, installed and ready for use. It is located in room 120 of the Elmore Wing of the Noll Laboratory in the GCRC unit. Please note its use is not limited to GCRC protocols. Human and animal samples can be run on the instrument. Check out www.mesoscale.com for more information and the assays currently available.
Reserving the instrument
- Please check
with Rick
Ball (rwb4@psu.edu) who is overseeing
it.
Training
- Efforts are under way to arrange for a technical specialist to provide training for interested laboratories.
- Training works best if you have an assay in mind and can do “hands on” work.
- Please indicate your interest in training/demonstration and a general time frame by contacting Andrea Mastro at a36@psu.edu.
Thanks
- “Thank you” to the Huck Institutes of the Life Sciences, the Deans of Eberly College of Science, Health and Human Development, and Agriculture for their support. A special thank you to the many individual researchers who donated towards the purchase.
