About MVC

MVC is a scientific visual and artistic competition sponsored by the Department of Materials Science and Engineering and the Materials Research Institute.

Created to celebrate the quality of research in Materials at Penn State, this competition promises to increase awareness of materials science through the creativity and visualization of our researchers.

If you are a researcher at Penn State working on a materials-related topic, you are eligible to enter.

• Download and complete a description page
• Send your image and description to Tom Harrington at multimedia@matse.psu.edu by the end of business on Thursday, March 7th.

Announcing the winners

MVC13 winners will be chosen by a panel of judges and will be announced at the MatSE Awards Banquet on April 4, 2013.
