iPlant Collaborative: cyberinfrastructure for plant science

The iPlant Collaborative brings plant biologists together with computer scientists, engineers, mathematicians and others, to collaborate on research problems and develop tools. Funded by NSF, the iPlant Collaborative aims to use new computational science and cyberinfrastructure to address a range of problems in the plant sciences.

An inaugural conference, "Bringing Plant and Computing Scientists Together to Solve Plant Biology's Grand Challenges", will be held April 7-9, 2008, at Cold Spring Harbor. There will also be a live webcast of the conference. Participation in the webcast is free, but registration is required.
