Initial round of CTSI projects awarded, Spring 2008
In early 2008, applications closed for a funding opportunity offered by Penn State's Clinical and Translational Science Award Initiative.
Winners of the initial round of awards have now been announced. 13 pilot projects have been selected for funding. These are:

- Sequencing of LGL Leukemia Retrovirus Genome
- Pattern Recognition from 3D Histology Images for Translational Science and Discovery
- Dissecting the Interaction between Radiofrequency Ablation and Tumor Antigenspecific Immune Response In Hepatocellular Cancer: A Murine Model and a Human Protocol
- Central Pennsylvania Women’s Health Study (CePAWHS): Extending the Strong Healthy Women Behavior Change Intervention to Urban Areas
