Spacegrant funds science students
NASA's Pennsylvania Space Grant Consortium invites applications from students for fellowship and scholarship programs.
Space Grant Fellowships
Awarded to outstanding students pursuing graduate degrees in fields that are relevant to the mission, research, and/or strategic objectives of NASA. Awards are for two years at $5,000 per year and are open to Penn State students in the following colleges:
- Agricultural Sciences
- Earth and Mineral Sciences
- Engineering, Health and Human Development
- Eberly College of Science
- Intercollege Graduate Degree Programs

The Sylvia Stein Memorial Space Grant Scholarship
Awarded to full time students at Penn State with an outstanding academic record enrolled in science, engineering, or mathematics. The students must be likely to pursue a career in an area of interest to NASA with demonstrated potential for graduate study.
Typically two $4000 scholarships are awarded each academic year. Past recipients may apply for a second year.
